Pumpkin Dirt is inspired by Amelia Simmons' groundbreaking 1796 cookbook, American Cookery. Simmons brought pumpkin out of fields and into the kitchen, weaving it into pies, breads and savory dishes that defined early American cooking.
Our Pumpkin Dirt blend carries that tradition forward with a warm balance of spices that echo the flavors of early New England hearts - earthy, aromatic and comforting.
Pumpkin Dirt - Pumpkin Spice Blend with a little kick.
Pumpkin Dirt Latte: Over medium-high heat, without boiling, whisk 1 c. of whole milk until steam begins to come off the surface of the milk, 3-4 minutes. Whisk 2 shots espresso (or ½ c. strong coffee), 3 tbsp. pumpkin puree (optional), 2 tbsp. maple syrup, 1 tsp. Pumpkin Dirt, 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Pour the heated milk over the mixture, stir, and top with frothy milk or whip cream. Can also be cooled and pored over ice. Sprinkle with Pumpkin Dirt.
